Eiffel Tower - France

The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower located in Paris, France. This was designed by Archt. Stephen Sauvestre. Construction work was started in 28 January 1887 and it was completed in 15 March 1889.It was opened in 31 March 1889. It is the most visited paid monument in the world. The total height of the tower is 324 m (1,063 ft).
It was the tallest building in the world from 1889 to 1930 for 41 years until the Chrysler Building in New York City was finished in 1930. The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. And also it has 8 elevators to reach up. Puddled iron was used as a material for construction.  The total weight of the tower is approximately 10,100 tons.
